What does being a member involve?

After signing up to be a member of the Business Travel Network, each business will contribute to the success of the BTN by:

• Nominating a contact representative from your organisation.
• Carrying out a travel survey of employees, with support from Colin Buchanan.
• Attending Business Travel Network meetings and the launch event (estimated 10 hours over 6 months).
• Promoting and raising awareness of the Business Travel Network amongst staff and other businesses.

The establishment of BTNs are normally funded through contributions from local businesses.  However the service that Smarter Travel Sutton and Colin Buchanan are providing in Sutton Town Centre and Cheam Village is completely free for you, as it is funded by Transport for London as part of the Smarter Travel Sutton programme.

Businesses will also be able to contact the dedicated team at Colin Buchanan for advice on sustainable travel issues
