What does being a member involve?
After signing up to be a member of the Business Travel Network, each business will contribute to the success of the BTN by:
- Nominating a contact representative from your organisation;
- Carrying out a travel survey of employees, with support from Smarter Travel Sutton staff;
- Supporting Smarter Travel Sutton by promoting sustainable travel to your staff;
- Promoting and raising awareness of the Business Travel Network amongst staff and other businesses.
The establishment of BTNs are normally funded through contributions from local businesses. However the service that Smarter Travel Sutton and Colin Buchanan are providing in the main town centres is completely free for you, as it is funded by Transport for London as part of the Smarter Travel Sutton programme.
