STP process

School Travel Plans (STPs) need to be updated each year to keep it 'live. This is partly practical - keeping you and your school refreshed with appropriate actions; and partly because we are required to maintain travel plans in order to continue to offer funding and initiatives to schools. Every three years Transport for London request that schools complete a STP Rewrite - like a review but with some extra consultation to ensure that your STP continues to be relevant to your school community.

School Travel Plan Reviews 2010

The deadline for completing your STP Review for 2009-10 is Friday 28th May. Are a number of documents in the 'Related Documents' at the bottom of the page to help you out. In addition:

- you are invited to attend a workshop to discuss and work on your STP Review. See the related documents below for your school's date;

- we have made a template to help you do the review;

- £150 supply cover is available to help you with some time out of the classroom to complete the review.

School Travel Plan Rewrites 2010

Deadline Friday 21st May. As for the STP Reveiws, above, but you are required to do some consultation before completing the final STP document. From 2010 we have survey software to help you do this, and have booked extra workshops on Tuesday 9th February and Thursday 11th February to help you plan and undertake your STP consultation.
